Descriptions The original air strip at Clow was built in the 1950s, but it was not until the 1970s that the field received it's first asphalt runway and became known officially as Clow International Airport. Clow predates most of the development in the Weber/Boughton area and while the area around it has grown, so has the airport, with a new restaurant, flight school and the Illinois Aviation Museum. The runway is open 24 hours and there is hangar and tie-down space available for private and commerical aircraft owners. |

For a regional airport, Clow isn't bad. There is plenty of parking and it's easy to get in and out of. Pretty convenient, all things considered.
