Cook Elementary

Felix Cook Junior Elementary School is an educational institute that serves more than 700 students in pre-kindergarten through grade five. The school s academic curriculum includes several subjects, such as reading, math, science and social studies. It administers English as a Second Language, special education, and gifted and talented programs. Felix Cook Junior Elementary School also offers guidance counseling and food services. The school operates a library and provides a variety of programs in cheerleading, band, choir, dance and fine arts. In addition, it manages art, millionaire book and chess clubs. Felix Cook Junior Elementary School is a part of the Houston Independent School District.
