Descriptions The YMCA of the Rockies is one of North Americas more than 2,400 nonprofit community organizations that work to meet the needs of people of all faiths, races, abilities and incomes. It has two centers to served both families and groups. The Estes Park Center is located 65 miles northwest of Denver and sits at an elevation of more than 8,000 feet. The YMCAs Snow Mountain Ranch is located 80 miles west of Denver and occupies more than 5,000 acres of the Arapahoe National Forest. At each of the YMCA centers, there is plenty of skiing. Like all YMCAs, the YMCA of the Rockies, headquartered in Estes Park, Colo., was founded on Christian values. |
