Mason Intermediate School

Mason Intermediate School operates under the Mason City School District. Based in Mason, Ohio, the school enrolls more than 2,400 students every year in grades four through six. It focuses on instruction in a variety of academic areas, including reading, vocabulary, mathematics, science and language arts. Mason Intermediate School offers the extended care and homework club program from Monday through Friday. The school provides several after school programs, including foreign languages, intramural games and babysitting. It also provides various clubs and student organizations, such as drama, student council, choir and destination imagination group for the development of writing and problem solving skills. Mason City School District also operates other schools, including Mason Heights Elementary School, Western Row Elementary School and Mason High School.
