Descriptions Skipper's Restaurant is a local clam shack that stays open all year. Located on Main Street, just across from the Niantic Bay, the restaurant has an enclosed sunporch with six tables, which is used even in winter. There are plenty of tables inside, too. Skipper's specializes in fried clams, fish and chips, burgers and ice cream, and also serves a popular lobster roll and clam chowder. |
