Descriptions The Glass Turtle is local restaurant and bar, so named because it was formerly the home of an aquarium shop, where a single turtle was left behind in a glass aquarium. This hip establishment serves classic American fare, including onion rings, Buffalo wings, hamburgers, French fries, fried mozarella, fish and grilled chicken. It also serves quesadillas and tacos. Try the restaurant's signature "Turtle Shells," stuffed potato skins with cheese, guacamole and sour cream.Plenty of good beer, both imported and domestic, are available on tap. Special weekly events are Touch Tuesday, Wednesday's "Party Like a Rock Star," and karaoke and dancing every Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Sundays are for watching for TV during football season. |
